Chicken in Peanut butter sauce

This dish is all time family favorite, everyone just loves the creamy sauce of peanut butter chicken. This dish is very particular for me, because this is the first dish my husband prepared for us. Everyone was amazed about the peanut butter with chicken, which we basically knew that peanut butter is a spread for bread. Eventually, all of us enjoyed it and this dish and it is one of our top menus.

Ingredients:

2.5 Chicken fryer with thigh and wings
1 Carrot cut in cubes
3 Potatoes, quartered
½ cup chopped onion
3 large size tomatoes, chopped
4 cloves garlic, crushed
2 cup Chicken broth or water
1 cup Peanut butter, creamy or crunchy
Salt
½ tsp. Chili powder- optional

Procedure:

1.  Sear chicken in a large saucepan until turns brown.
2. Remove from oil and set aside.
3. Sauté the garlic and onion using oil in the same saucepan.
4. Add in the tomatoes, next the potatoes. Sauté until potatoes are half way cooked.
5. Back in the seared chicken and pour in the broth. Season it with salt and chili powder.
6. Simmer for 15 minutes.
7. Scoop the peanut butter and dissolve in the sauce, this you will need a gradual stirring.
8. Simmer again for 5-7 minutes, and add in the peas and diced carrots. Give another more 5 minutes to simmer or until sauce gets thick.
